Public Housing


WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Public housing is limited to low-income families and individuals. Dublin Housing Authority determines your eligibility based on 1) annual gross income; 2) whether you qualify as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family; and 3) U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status. The date and time of the application is also noted for waiting list offers. All screening is done in accordance with Dublin Housing Authority's Admissions & Continued Occupancy Policy.

Lifetime Prohibitions from Receiving Housing Assistance

Federal requirements prohibit Housing Authorities from providing assistance to the following individuals:

  •     Persons who are registered on any state sexual predator list.
  •     Persons who have been convicted for the manufacture or sale of methamphetamines on the premises of federally assisted housing.

The Dublin Housing Authority has a total of 540 public housing apartments located; 50 are located in the City of East Dublin GA with the remaining 490 in the City of Dublin GA. These developments are divided into Asset Management Properties or AMPS.
